Lumi is built for children ages 3 to 10, and it is set up and supervised by a parent from the very first step. You sign in, you create your child's profile, and everything Lumi does sits under your account.

We collect only what is needed to personalise conversations and run the service: your account details, your child's profile, their progress, and the text of your conversations. We do not store audio recordings of your child's voice, do not sell personal data, do not show advertising to children, and do not use children's data for behavioural tracking or profiling.

You stay in control through Parent Corner: read every past conversation, see new words your child has picked up, block topics, set quiet hours, and set a daily time limit. You can update your child's profile, delete a child's profile and transcripts, or delete your whole account, at any time.

Every reply Lumi gives passes an automated safety check before it is spoken, and Lumi is built to stay a play companion rather than a general-purpose assistant.
